$11K Worth Of 'Pink' Clothing Stolen From Victoria's Secret

Four men fled the Victoria's Secret in Burr Ridge with clothing items they stole from racks and a table display.

BURR RIDGE, IL - "Pink" merchandise worth more than $11,00 was stolen from clothing racks at the Victoria's Secret store in Burr Ridge on Monday by four men who fled the shopping center on Village Center Drive in a gray minivan. Police in Burr Ridge have reviewed surveillance video of the theft and have provided thorough descriptions of the offenders.

Police were called to the store at 570 Village Center Dr. at 4:15 p.m. and were told by an employee that a group of men entered the store and fled after taking handfuls of merchandise from a table display and clothing racks. The employee saw the group flee in a minivan that was parked in front of a nearby Two Bostons business and head eastbound on Village Center Drive.

The employee could only describe the group of fleeing thieves as black men who were wearing hoodies "as the incident happened so fast," according to a police report.

When police reviewed surveillance footage provided by the store, they determined the suspects to be between 17 and 23 years old. The first was approximately 6'0" with a thin build wearing a black hoodie, white mask over face, dark pants, and carrying a white bag. The second was 5'10" with a thin build, wearing a black jacket with a furry brown hood and dark jeans. The third was also about 5'10" with a medium build wearing a black hoodie. The fourth about 5'7" with a medium build, wearing a black hoodie, red bandana over face and dark pants.The fifth approximately 5'09"with a thin build, wearing a black jacket, brown baseball cap and dark pants.

The minivan the suspects left in was backed into a parking spot and appeared to have no front license plate. The offenders dropped multiple coat hangers and articles of clothing outside of the store as they ran toward the minivan, according to police.

When employees added up the amount of the merchandise stolen, it came to $11,410.62.
