Fuel Finder: At $4.11 Per Gallon, How Much Are You Driving?

For some Americans, the high gas prices are changing driving habits. Are they changing yours? Plus, see where the cheapest gas in Burr Ridge is.

As gas prices continue to rise, the Associated Press reported yesterday that Americans appear to be driving less and as a result, are lowering the demand for fuel.

According to the report, drivers bought 3.6 percent fewer gallons of gas for the week of April 1 than they did one year ago — that adds up to about 2.4 million fewer gallons of gas. Read the full article here and tell us how the prices are affecting your driving habits. 

As for the cheapest gas near Burr Ridge, AAA Fuel Price Finder lists the Cass BP, 6300 S. Cass Ave., as having the cheapest gas in the area. One gallon of regular costs $3.93. That’s below the Chicago area’s average of $4.11 per gallon, according to AAA.
