Fuel Finder: Best Deal for Gas is at Speedway
Although higher than the national average, Speedway on Kingery Highway will save you some cents at the pump.
Speedway on 91st and Kingery Highway has the lowest prices again this week with regular gas costing $3.61.
The pain at the pump is being felt around the country with national gas prices up 14 cents from last week, according to AAA. The national average for regular gas is $3.50 with Chicago area drivers paying an average of $3.71.
Illinois, along with California, Alaska and New York, has some of the highest gas prices in the country, according to AAA. However - and this should make us feel a little better - drivers in San Francisco are paying an average of $3.94 for regular.
