LTHS Sale May Impact Burr Ridge Residents: Village
Burr Ridge officials plan to address the possibility of the land being sold to an industrial developer.

BURR RIDGE, IL – Lyons Township High School's planned sale of a property in Willow Springs could impact residents on the east side of Burr Ridge, the village says.
On Monday night, the Burr Ridge Village Board is set to discuss the sale of the 70-acre wooded property southwest of 79th Street and Willow Springs Road.
The board's meeting agenda indicates the sale could also impact the Edgewood Valley Country Club, which the village annexed last year.

The school board is prepared to reject the bids at its meeting Monday night.
Burr Ridge's meeting agenda gives no indication of whether the village supports the sale of the land to an industrial developer.
But it notes the developers' preferences for the land are specifically designated as "prohibited uses." It says the zoning is for smaller retailers, single-family housing and senior housing.
