Sitex Group Purchases 50,000 Square Foot Building on Shore Drive
The industrial building in Burr Ridge is one of three properties in the Chicago area the group has purchased recently.

The Sitex Group has purchased a 50,000 square foot building at 281 Shore Drive in Burr Ridge, according to the Illinois Real Estate Journal.
According to loopnet.com, the building was built in 1986. The Illinois Real Estate Journal said the building contains four units that are each about 12,200 square feet with 20-foot clear ceilings and exterior truck docks. Two of the units are vacant and currently up for lease.

"It's a one-page application that specifies land use. We use it to verify that the land use is permitted by the zoning of the property," said Pollock. "[This building] is zoned industrial."
Pollock said the application does not take long to approve and can take from five minutes to five days, depending on how big a hurry a business is in to obtain the CO.
According to Pollock, the following businesses are listed as occupying the building, but one or more may no longer be there.
- — The company is listed as occupying 11,000 square feet in the building and manufactures products for HP, Kodak, IBM and M&M-Mars.
- World Office Cleaning—The company is listed as occupying 12,000 square feet and is an office and warehouse for a cleaning service.
- Equipment Depot of Illinois, Inc.—The company is listed as being a Forklift material handling distributor.
