• Giant Fire Consumes Channahon Family Of 4's House In Hunters Crossing Subdivision: Fire District (patch.com) — Channahon residents are rallying to support a local family of four after an early-morning fire destroyed their Hunters Crossing home, though everyone and their pets escaped unharmed. Multiple area fire departments helped battle the blaze, and Hive Kitchen in Channahon has launched a donations drive to provide clothing, bedding, toiletries, and other essentials.
