Al Snow Coming to Zanies 4/29

Wrestling legend Al Snow brings his comedy to Zanies 4/29. Al will be joined by David Vox Mullen and Alydar Skyy for an afternoon of laughs.

Wrestler Al Snow has had a successful career inside the ring for more than 30 years. Al's humor is legendary. On Saturday, April 29, Al will bring his humor to Zanies in Chicago.

An Evening With Al Snow will have Al telling hilarious stories from his life in and out of the ring. Although wrestling might be the backdrop, Al's humor comes from life events only Al could experience. Al's take on situations is uniquely Al and will fill the room with laughter.

Several months back, I got a preview of the show when Al and David joined The Johngy "OR ELSE" podcast to discuss the show. Al and David had my co-host Tommy Else and I laughing throughout the interview.

Next we experienced the show in person at one of the earliest stops on the tour. David hosted and guided Al through his many stories, much to the delight of patrons. Alydar added her humor as an opener.

The show starts at 4 p.m., but the fun starts at 2:30 for VIP ticket holders. The trio will take part in a special meet-and-greet. This is guaranteed to be a blast. Al's interactions with fans is amazing. Be alert though, or you might end up on the receiving end of a choke hold (all in great fun, of course).

I have been a fan of Al's from his wrestling career, but also through seeing him at many conventions. Al is really a fantastic guy with such a quick mind.

I have also known David for many years, having seen him perform many times. A main event comedian on his own, David perfectly led Al through the night of storytelling.

It was my first time seeing Alydar, but it wasn't the last. I have seen her a couple times since and she always kills.

This is a winning trio. Although I saw the act months ago, I can't wait to see it again. Plus, as Al and David explain in our interview, each show is different, depending on where Al's mind goes, and it goes in many directions.

I wasn't alone in buying my tickets as soon as they went on sale. Several of my friends in and out of wrestling also got theirs. The show is about two months away, but I encourage everyone to get tickets from Zanies now. This is going to be like a big friend reunion, listening to great stories.

If you still have any doubts, check out the interview Tommy and I did with Al and David. I'll see you there 4/29!
