CHICAGO — The city will pay tribute to the military men and women who lost their lives serving their country with a Memorial Day ceremony and parade Saturday. A wreath-laying ceremony will start at 11 a.m. at Daley Plaza, 50 W. Washington St. Then at noon, the parade will step off at State and Lake streets. The procession will continue south on State to Van Buren Street.

Major General Marion Garcia, Commanding General, 200th Military Police Command, United States Army Reserve, will serve as the parade’s Grand Marshal.
