Gebrüder Weiss Awards Supply Chain Leadership Scholarship to Rutgers Business School Student Ava Shertenlieb

WOOD DALE, IL – (MAY 6, 2026) – Gebrüder Weiss, a leading global transport and logistics company, announces that Ava Shertenlieb, a freshman at Rutgers Business School (Rutgers) in New Jersey, has been named a recipient of the Gebrüder Weiss Supply Chain Leadership Scholarship for the 2025–2026 academic year.

The scholarship is part of Gebrüder Weiss' ongoing partnership with Rutgers. It is designed to support students pursuing careers in supply chain management and logistics while helping reduce financial barriers to higher education. 

Shertenlieb is currently balancing her academic studies while working and building a foundation in business and supply chain disciplines. Her academic focus and commitment to the field were key factors in the selection process.

The curriculum combines analytical, technical, and practical experience to prepare students for evolving supply chain roles, with a strong emphasis on career readiness and industry engagement.

Full-time undergraduate students enrolled at Rutgers Business School may apply for the scholarship through the university's financial aid process. Recipients are selected annually by Rutgers based on academic performance, career focus, and demonstrated commitment to the field.
