Gunman Fires Rifle On Metra Platform, FBI Seeks Help Finding Him
Investigators are looking for a man who pulled out a collapsible rifle on the Metra train platform at McCormick Place last week.

CHICAGO — The FBI released images of an unidentified gunman seen firing a rifle on the Metra train platform at McCormick Place last week, asking the public for help identifying him.
Around 10 a.m. on Dec. 1, a man with a closely cropped beard and receding hairline walked into the commuter rail station carrying a backpack.
Video from security cameras shows the man watch a train depart before walking to the bottom of a stairwell and placing his backpack on the ground.

The man pulls out a collapsible rifle with an attached flashlight and scope. He loads a single bullet into it and fires a shot out over the tracks before collapsing it and placing it back into his bag.

The gunman was described as 5 feet, 8 inches with a slender build. He should be considered armed and dangerous, although there were no known injuries associated with the incident, according to the FBI.
