Kanye West 'Moving Back To Chicago,' Album With Chance The Rapper
Chance the Rapper hinted at Monday's announcement via social media.

CHICAGO, IL — Monday night was a big one for Kanye West fans as Yeezy himself announced during a Chicago appearance he will be returning to the city and "never leaving," thanks to fellow Chicago star Chance the Rapper, who was also in attendance. The 41-year-old Chicago native and Chance revealed during an appearance at Harold Washington Library Center the two are working on a brand new album, with West confirming the album name days after speculation began due to a weekend post on Chance's Instagram.
Chance posted an image on his Instagram (below) that read, "Good Ass Job." The album title is one West had planned for years, and as seen in the video, fans approved of the announcement.
“I want to thank my brother Chance for bringing me back to Chicago,” West said.

Monday's excitement follows the rapper's recent claims he'll be teaching a course at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.

Patch reported the school responded to West's Sept. 9 tweet regarding his teaching news, saying "We're flattered that Mr. West would have an interest in teaching emerging artists and designers at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago," Bree Witt, the school's public relations director, said in a statement, the Chicago Tribune reported. "However, Mr. West is not currently teaching at SAIC, and at this time, there are no plans for him to do so."
In the meantime, West has a big appearance to plan for after Saturday Night Live announced Monday that actor Adam Driver and the rapper will headline the show's season 44 premiere on Sept. 29.
Kardashian West has yet to comment on her husband's Monday announcement.
