Jim was born and raised in Chicago and was a graduate of Hubbard High School, Class of 1971. After graduation, Jim decided to follow in his father’s footsteps and went to the police academy. He enjoyed a rewarding 28 year career, beginning in the 11th District, with the Chicago Police Department before retiring in 2005 as a Sergeant with the 2nd District. When he wasn’t protecting and serving, he was an avid comic book collector, enjoyed playing World of Warcraft and loved to listen to Pink Floyd. Above all, Jim was a family man who instilled strong values in his children and grandchildren, who were the loves of his life!
