Singer Nora Payne Missing For More Than 2 Weeks
She was last seen at O'Hare in late September.

CHICAGO, IL -- Singer and songwriter Nora Payne has been missing for two weeks, according to her family. Her friends and family members have taken to Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to ask for the public's help finding her. They said Payne was last seen at O'Hare International Airport on Sept. 27.

“Saddens me to post this. I’ll be short … if anyone sees my sister Nora Payne please reach out to us," her brother Julian Payne posted on Facebook. "We just want to make sure she is safe. We have not been able to locate her once her travel day last Thursday..."
Julian Payne is the president of The Original Mobile Barbershop Co., a well-known celebrity hair company. He has worked with clients such as Kobe Bryant and Kanye West. Julian Payne said his sister caught an American Airlines flight to visit him in Los Angeles--with a layover in Chicago--when she went missing.

Nora Payne, 44, is described as 5'6, weighing about 117 lbs, with long brown hair and brown eyes, according to the Black & Missing Foundation. She has a birthmark on her waist/hip area. She was last seen wearing a gold and white metallic pullover, a black jacket, black jeans, and a dark brown studded belt. She was carrying a light brown Hermes purse and black carry-on bag. The foundation alert said she might be in need of medical attention, but did not clarify the nature of the medical issue.
Nora Payne was flying from Buffalo, New York to Los Angeles to visit her brother when she disappeared. Her flight had a layover in O'Hare.
