Everything you need to know about voting in the March 20, 2018 Illinois primary.

It's almost over -- the commercials, the social media ads and the robo calls -- and this is only the primary. Illinois residents go to the polls on Tuesday, March 20. The polls are open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. If you love the excitement of voting on election day, or if you still haven't registered to vote, Patch has compiled a guide to help you find your polling place, judicial evaluations, newspaper endorsements, candidate guides and more.

Judges

Vote for Judges - lists all of the judicial evaluations from statewide bar associations and lawyer groups. Voters are permitted to bring newspaper endorsements, printouts, sample ballots and smart phones to view judicial evaluations into the voting booth.

Election Day Registration and Voting

Voters who are not registered to vote, can register and vote at their home precinct only on the day of primary.

Voters planning on registering to vote or updating their address on election day must bring two pieces of identification to register, one with a current address.
