Chicago Heights Man Charged In Fatal Boston Street Crash

Police say Eric Adams was the driver of a car that hit and killed a 27-year-old man in Chicago Heights.

CHICAGO HEIGHTS, IL - A Chicago Heights man has been charged in the death of a 27-year-old man who was hit by a car last week. Eric C. Adams, 24, faces one count of leaving the scene of an accident involving death, in connection with the death of Bryan Webster.

Webster died of blunt force trauma to the head in what was ruled a homicide after he was hit by a car in the 300 block of North Boston Street shortly before 9 a.m. on April 30, the Chicago Sun-Times first reported.

Chicago Heights police say Adams was the driver of the car that hit Webster. He turned himself in at the city's police station on May 1, according to police.
