The money raised at the golf outing is used to underwrite special projects within the district. In the past, the foundation has provided funding for teacher and staff projects, supplemental learning opportunities for students, and meetings and activities benefitting the citizens of the district’s service communities.
“As is stated in our mission statement, our goal is to enrich the opportunities and experiences of our students and their families,” said Mary Kay Entsminger, President of the SD170 Educational Foundation.
