Heights Library Features Black Films

A collection of African American cinema is being offered by the Chicago Heights Public Library as part of its celebration of Black History Month.

Films are being screened at 2:00 p.m. every Friday afternoon during February. These theatrical films from recent years cover important events, persons, and subjects. Topics range from civil rights history to politics and sports. You can check the library website, chicagoheightslibrary.org, to see each week’s title.

Light refreshments are offered during the film showings. An optional discussion period also follows each screening.
