Male Success Initiative Host Annual Networking Event “Ties that Bind"

CHICAGO HEIGHTS, IL - The Male Success Initiative (MSI) program at Prairie State College (PSC) will host its annual “Ties That Bind” event on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, from 6 to 8 p.m., in the Atrium on the Main Campus at 202 S. Halsted St. in Chicago Heights. This free event is open to the public and aims to support males in the community who are interested in pursuing a college education.

Participants will have the opportunity to sharpen their networking skills and learn how to build professional relationships. Mentors from Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. Theta Mu Lambda Chapter will provide students with career advice, attire tips, interviewing techniques, and insights on college success.

The MSI program focuses on recruiting, enrolling, retaining, and supporting males of color in their educational pursuits through workshops, mentoring, and career planning.
