Photos Of Alleged Crete Bank Robber Released
Surveillance images of a man who the FBI says robbed a First Midwest Bank in Crete on Thursday have surfaced.

CRETE, IL -- Bank surveillance photos have been released of the bandit who struck the First Midwest Bank in Crete Thursday in what federal officials have classified as a "takeover bank robbery."
The FBI describes the culprit in the robbery of the financial institution on Steger Road as a black man with brown eyes, 5'9" with a thin build. He was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and a red shirt underneath when committing the robbery at 12:12 p.m., according to BanditTracker.
The man was armed with, and showed, a handgun when he demanded money from First Midwest Bank, 1290 E. Steger Road. He left with some proceeds and fled the area westbound on foot, according to information provided by an FBI official.

Images released of the suspect by BanditTracker are blurred, but some features may be recognizable.
