PSC Speech Team Brings Home Sixth Place Honors and Individual Awards During College of Lake County Tournament

Prairie State College speech team members who participated in a recent tournament at the College of Lake County were (from left) Patrick Sheard, Kelly Crescenzo, Daniel Blewitt, Carmen Cooper and Colin Gallagher.
The Prairie State College (PSC) speech team brought home sixth place honors and several individual awards during the recent tournament hosted by the College of Lake County.
Patrick Sheard of Dolton was named tournament champion for informative speaking and received fifth place for dramatic interpretation. Daniel Blewitt of Crete was named tournament champion for speech to entertain. Carmen Cooper of Homewood received third place for informative speaking. Colin Gallagher of Homewood received sixth place for persuasive speaking.
