Rotary Club of Chicago Heights honors November Students of the Month at Bloom High School and Bloom Trail High School

Deja Scott from Bloom Trial High School and Ryan Borak from Bloom High School were recognized at Olympia Fields Country Club on November 17

Deja Scott is the November Rotary Club of Chicago Heights student of the month from Bloom Trail High School. Deja is at the top of her class currently tied for the highest GPA in her sophomore class. Deja has made her education a priority and her extracurricular contributions are great. She plays the clarinet in the band, is a member of Sophomore Board, Chemistry Club, T3, Blazer Book Club, Chess and serves on the school Leadership Team. She has a warm personality and teachers noted that she always starts class with a 'Hello," and leaves with a "Good Bye." She is an excellent student and member of the Bloom Trail High School community.

Ryan Dorak is the November Rotary Club of Chicago Heights student of the month from Bloom High School. Ryan’s favorite class is Woodworking. It has inspired him to think about carpentry or working with architecture after high school. His teachers think very highly of him, and outside of school he is involved in self-defense classes.
