DUI
Diego Tejada Espinoza, 21, of Harvey was stopped at Ridge Road and Halsted Street at 2:47 a.m. on Oct. 12 and charged with use of unsafe tire, driving under the influence of alcohol and having a blood alcohol concentration of .08 or more.

Devon Battle, 39, of Chicago Heights was charged with speeding, driving under the influence, illegal transportation of alcoholic liquor and driving while license suspended/revoked at 4:44 p.m. on Oct. 9 in the 17900 block of Halsted Street.

Darrius Jennings, 28, of South Chicago Heights was charged with public indecency at 6:06 p.m. on Oct. 11 in the 2600 block of 183rd Street. Jennings exposed his genitals to a Lyft driver.
Deceptive Practice
Auquerra Priest, 25, of Richton Park was charged with deceptive practices at 7:45 p.m. on Oct. 9 at Best Buy, 17800 S. Halsted St. Priest presented fraudulent identification to make a purchase.
Battery
Edward Drake, 47, of Park Forest was charged with battery at 6:41 p.m. on Oct. 9. Drake got into a physical confrontation with an acquaintance.
Jeremy Kidd, 28, of South Chicago Heights was charged with battery and driving while license suspended/revoked at 3:28 a.m. on Oct. 14 in the 18000 block of Halsted. Kidd and an acquaintance got into a verbal disagreement, which led to Kidd striking that subject with his fist. Kidd drove away from the location of the incident and was located a short distance away.
Possession Of A Controlled Substance
Maurice Williams, 49, of the 900 block of Elder in Homewood was charged with speeding, possession of a controlled substance and possession of cannabis with the intent to manufacture/deliver at 11:44 p.m. on Oct. 14 in the 18200 block of Halsted.
Retail Theft
Ronnie Flowers, 55, of Riverdale was charged with retail theft at Jewel, 17705 S. Halsted St. at 4:54 p.m. on Oct. 19. Flowers concealed items and exited the store without making payment for the merchandise, which had a total retail value of $97.96.
Latasha Danner, 39, of Chicago was charged with retail theft at Jewel, 17705 S. Halsted St. at 10:50 p.m. on Oct. 19. Danner concealed items and exited the store without paying for the merchandise. An unidentified subject fled with the items as a loss control agent intervened.
