SD170's Washington-McKinley School Recognizes Perfect Attendance

School Teams With the Horace Mann Companies to Honor Students

Dimira Gavina and Franciso Gaytan, third and seventh grade students at Chicago Heights School District 170’s Washington-McKinley School won bicycles during the school’s recent Perfect Attendance Incentive Raffle.

Assistant Principal Artis McCann developed the Perfect Attendance Incentive Program to motivate students while helping them to understand the importance of being at school, and arriving on time on a daily basis.

The bicycles were donated were donated by Cathy Underwood of the Horace Mann Companies.
