Seed Starting for Your Garden
Program This Friday | Cosecha de semillas para su jardín: este viernes

While the weather outside might not feel like it, spring will soon be here – and the Chicago Heights Library is celebrating that fact by offering a series of gardening workshops presented by the University of Illinois Extension Master Gardener program.
Kicking off the series will be Grow Lettuce and Herbs in a Bag: The Basics of Seed Starting. In this presentation, you’ll learn the basics of seed starting in a fun, hands-on “make & take” activity. This enjoyable and interesting program will take place this Friday, February 16, from 3:00 to 4:00 PM.
The Master Gardeners won’t be stopping there, however. Two additional workshops are scheduled for later in the year.
