1 Injured After Pedestrian Hit By Car At Food Pantry
The incident happened Tuesday morning at a food pantry in McHenry County.
MCHENRY COUNTY, IL — One person was taken to the hospital after a driver accidentally stepped on the accelerator of his car, crashing into someone loading a trunk at the FISH of McHenry Food Pantry Tuesday morning, authorities said.
Robert Salazar, a police commander with the Johnsburg Police Department, told Shaw Local the collision happened at about 11 a.m. The person who was hit by the car was taken to the hospital for treatment of injuries that are not considered life-threatening.
