1 Killed In Woodstock Crash
The single-vehicle collision occurred early Tuesday. A 26-year-old man was killed in the crash.
WOOODSTOCK, IL – A 26-year-old Woodstock man is dead following a single-vehicle crash in Woodstock Tuesday morning, authorities said. The collision occurred when a car headed west on Route 14 lost control and crashed into a light pole at about 3:01 a.m. The driver of the car has been identified as Benjie J. Tafolla, McHenry County Coroner Anne Majewski said Tuesday afternoon.
Tafolla was pronounced dead at the scene at 3:13 a.m. An autopsy revealed he died from blunt trauma to the head. Toxicology testing is pending at this time, Majewski said.
The crash remains under investigation.
