15 Arrested In Warrant Service Operation

An illegal firearm and multiple rounds of ammunition and drugs were also seized during this operation.

MCHENRY COUNTY, IL — Fifteen fugitives were taken into custody this past week as part of an arrest warrant service operation in McHenry County, authorities said. The McHenry County Sheriff's Office took the following people into custody on Wednesday and Thursday for various charges during the "warrant service operation:"

  • Kyle A. Campbell: Attempted murder
  • Russell S. Levand: Drug-induced homicide
  • John F. Gonzalez: Aggravated domestic battery
  • Jonathan A. Wilson: Aggravated Domestic Battery and Burglary
  • Tony L. Brandt: Residential Burglary
  • Eric L. Landwer: Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver
  • Kyle N. Martin: Petition to Revoke on Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance
  • Krista L. Obenchain: Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance
  • Nicholas J. Larsen: Illinois Department of Corrections Parole Violation
  • Carl W. Purcell: Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance
  • Adam Hoth: Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance
  • Michael L. Simmons: Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance
  • Gianni Pellegrinon: Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance
  • Deb L. Aguillar: Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance
  • Christian Mora Diaz: Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance

The warrant service operation was headed by the McHenry County Sheriff’s Office Fugitive
Apprehension Unit, and was assisted by members of the McHenry County Sheriff’s Office
Narcotics Task Force, the United States Marshals Service Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task
Force, the Lake County Sheriff’s Office, the Kane County Sheriff’s Office, and the DuPage
County Sheriff’s Office, according to the sheriff's office news release.

During the execution of these arrest warrants one illegal firearm, multiple rounds of ammunition,
and drugs were also seized.
