2 Critically Injured In Motorcycle Crash

MCHENRY COUNTY, IL —A Wonder Lake woman and a McHenry man are in critical condition following a motorcycle crash Wednesday evening.

The collision happened at about 6 p.m. when a 2003 Harley Davidson motorcycle was headed north on Justen Road in McHenry and went off the roadway at a curve in the road, according to a news release from the McHenry County Sheriff's Office. Both the driver, a 56-year-old McHenry man, and a passenger, a 50-year-old Wonder Lake woman, were ejected from the motorcycle and neither were wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

Both the man and woman were initially taken to Northwestern Hospital in McHenry. The man was later taken to Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville and the woman was transported to Loyota University Medical Center in Hines.

Both are in critical condition.

An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
