2 Dogs Rescued From Crystal Lake House Fire

The house was damaged in the Monday morning fire.

Two dogs were rescued from a fire at a house in Crystal Lake Monday, fire officials said. The Crystal Lake Fire Rescue Department was called to the 959 Wedgewood Circle at about 9:11 a.m. for a reported house fire. Fire crews were able to quickly extinguish the blaze and the first crews at the scene rescued the two dogs from the home, according to a news release.

Fire damage was limited to the attic and second story of the home. The blaze caused on estimated $80,000 in damage.

No one was injured in the blaze.
