2016 Heritage Trolley Tour of Crystal Lake
Annual heritage trolley tour to feature the original 1860's village of Crystal Lake.

Where is the oldest neighborhood in Crystal Lake? What was the Brick Block? Who was Father McCormick? Find out by hopping aboard a trolley with the Crystal Lake Historic Preservation Commission. On Sunday, June 12th, the commission’s 19th annual Heritage Trolley Tour will take passengers back in time to visit the rich history of Crystal Lake. Timed, round-trip tickets are now available for $12 at Heisler’s Bootery, 50 N. Williams Street. On the day of the tours, any remaining tickets will be available for $15 at the downtown Crystal Lake gazebo. Trolleys will depart from the gazebo every half hour from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Tour participants will also receive a keepsake booklet of fascinating facts and vintage photographs.
