$25,000 Bond Set for Crystal Lake Man Accused of Sexually Assaulting Girl
The man remained in custody Thursday. He is accused of sexually assaulting a girl he knew.
CRYSTAL LAKE, IL - A Crystal Lake man is being held on a $25,000 bond at the McHenry County Jail for allegedly sexually assaulting a child under the age of 13 years old.
Ricardo Miron-Pedraza, of the 300 block of Terra Cotta Avenue, was arrested on Friday following an investigation by Crystal Lake police, the Northwest Herald reports. He is accused of sexually assaulting a girl he knew and police launched an investigation into the local man after receiving information from the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services.
Miron-Pedraza is charged with one count of predatory criminal sexual assault of a victim under the age of 13 years old, according to online court records. He is next expected in court on March 16.
