3 Crystal Lake Businesses Fail Alcohol Compliance Checks
The three businesses are accused of selling alcohol to a minor sent in by police during recent compliance checks.

CRYSTAL LAKE, IL – Three Crystal Lake businesses failed recent alcohol compliance checks, police said this past week. The following businesses are all accused of selling alcohol to a minor in September:
- Walgreens, 151 Northwest Highway
- Carlos Mexican Grill, 282 W. Virginia Street
- M Supper Club – 394 W. Virginia Street
Police sent in minors who were under the age of 21 years old to 84 total businesses in Crystal Lake during the September compliance checks, according to a news release from the Crystal Lake Police Department. Most clerks or employees at the businesses appropriately checked the purchaser's identification, recognized them as being underage and did not complete the sale, police said.
