Lottery Ticket Worth $400,000 Sold in McHenry

A $400,000 winning Lucky Day Lotto ticket was sold for Saturday night's drawing at Sunnyside Little Store, 4304 North Johnsburg Road in McHenry. They ticket matched all five numbers for the drawing: 01-04-07-13-16.

The retailer will receive a bonus of $4,000, or one percent of the prize amount, for selling the winning ticket.

The Illinois Lottery urges the lucky winner to immediately sign the back of their ticket and keep it in a safe place until they visit one of the Lottery’s five Prize Centers in Chicago, Des Plaines, Rockford, Springfield or Fairview Heights. Winners have one year from the original drawing date to claim their prize.

Two winning tickets shared Saturday night’s $800,000 Lucky Day Lotto jackpot. The other $400,000 winning ticket was sold at Marathon, 1121 South Jefferson Street in Chicago.
