$40K Bail For 3rd DUI Charge; Warrants Served: Blotter

CRYSTAL LAKE, IL — The following information comes from the Crystal Lake Police Department as a record of police activity, including incidents reported by the public and those arrested by police. Criminal charges represent accusations by the state and are often dropped or reduced. Updated information may be available from the McHenry County Clerk of the Circuit Court.

Every person arrested is presumed innocent unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.

Sept. 25: Jose Papalotzi, 43, of the 500 block of Somerset Lane, was arrested on Sept. 25 and charged with aggravated driving under the influence/suspended revoked driver's license and aggravated DUI/3rd + DUI. He was also wanted on a warrant for aggravated DUI. His bond was set at $40,000 and he was turned over to the McHenry County Sheriff's Office.

Sept. 27: Adrian Douglas Raiford, 34, of the 10000 block of 66th Avenue in Pleasant Prairie, was arrested on Sept. 27 and charged with driving on a revoked license, DUI/Alcohol and on a warrant out of Aurora for driving on a suspended license. He is next expected in court on Nov. 10.

Jennifer Shannon Brow, 45, of Crystal Lake, was arrested on Oct. 1 and charged with domestic battery/physical contact. She was turned over to the McHenry County Sheriff's Office.

Matthew Aaron Wright, 22, of the 1200 block of Wood Drive in Woodstock, was arrested on Oct. 1 and charged with leaving the scene of an accident/vehicle damage. Wright is next expected in court on Nov. 10.

Nicholas Anthony Soto, 36, of the 600 block of Devonshire Lane in Crystal Lake, was arrested on Oct. 2 on a warrant out of McHenry County for larceny and on a domestic battery/physical contact charge.

Steven Edward Demeter, 50, of the 2500 block of Waukegan Road in Glenview, was arrested on Oct. 2 and charged with domestic battery/physical contact.

Yuzo Nakazaki, 43, of the 12000 block of Viola Lane in Vola, was arrested on Oct. 4 and charged with DUI/Alcohol and DUI/BAC .08. Bail was set at $3,000 and Nakazaki is next expected in court on Nov. 24.

Kurt A. Wilson, 61, of the 300 block of S. Oriole Trail in Crystal Lake, was arrested on Oct. 6 on an in-state bond forfeiture warrant for failure to appear on a warrant for driving while license suspended. Wilson is next expected in court on Oct. 20.
