Learn about the draft Algonquin-Cary Subarea Plan, Open for public comment through February 28, 2021.

Throughout the month of February, The Villages of Algonquin and Cary will host a virtual open house.

The Draft Algonquin-Cary Subarea Plan aims to establish a long term vision for the Route 31 corridor, including the mining sites, Cary Lake at Rotary Park, and surrounding areas.

We invite local residents, business owners, community leaders and other interested stakeholders to read the draft plan, watch a series of short videos and provide feedback in discussion forums.
