Arrests Made, Citations Issued During Roadside Safety Check
The roadside safety check was conducted last weekend in McHenry County.

Illinois State Police (ISP) District 02 Commander Michael J. Kraft announces the results of a
joint Roadside Safety Check (RSC) with McHenry County Sheriff’s Office held in McHenry County from
late night June 22, 2018, to early morning June 23, 2018. The RSC was conducted on US-12 north of
IL-173 by McHenry County Sheriff’s Office and District 02 officers.

Illinois, and throughout the U.S., nearly 10,000 people die each year due to alcohol-impaired driving.
RSCs are designed to keep our roads safe by taking dangerous DUI offenders off the road. This project
was funded through the Illinois Department of Transportation.
