Athletic Courts & Fields, Playgrounds, Dog Park, Disc Golf Closed

Parks/Green Spaces & Trails Remain Open

At this time, Crystal Lake Park District trails and open green space at parks remain open. Please practice social distancing while enjoying our trails. Group activities of any kind are prohibited. In following with Governor Pritzker’s order, all of our playgrounds and park amenities
remain closed until further notice. Effective March 27, the Crystal Lake Park District has expanded the closure to include athletic fields, tennis courts, basketball courts, volleyball courts, pickleball
courts and Lippold Park outdoor fitness equipment, Hound Town Dog Park and the Lippold Park Skate Park. All indoor facilities remain closed.

It is important to note that the Park District continues to operate while being closed to the public in the following ways:

  • Park Police remain on duty. To report any park damage or if you need Park Police assistance, please call 815-455-2313 (Police non-emergency number)
  • Staff working remotely will be available via phone and email Monday-Friday, 8:30 am- 5 pm.
  • Parks Department staff will continue to monitor properties and facilities with a reduced crew and shifts.

The District is monitoring the COVID-19 outbreak closely and receiving frequent updates from our federal, state and regional public health partners. The District will continue to evaluate and make decisions based on the guidance from these trusted sources.
