Bike Share Program Launched In Crystal Lake, Across McHenry Co.
There are several bikes available at locations across the county, including bikes available to rent in downtown Crystal Lake.
CRYSTAL LAKE, IL — Bike sharing options are now available in Crystal Lake and across McHenry County.
Bikes are available to rent in downtown Crystal Lake at the Crystal Lake Metra station, which is located at Grant and Railroad streets. Those interested in renting the bikes can download the Kolani app. Annual memberships are available for $15, which allows riders to bike for a maximum of four hours each trip.
The pay-as-you-go rate is $2 per hour.

There are also bike sharing pick-up and drop off stations across the county at the following locations:
- McHenry County College (Between buildings A & B at the Lucas Dr. entrance)
- Woodstock - Woodstock Metra Station
- Visit McHenry County - Huntley (Coming July 2021)
- McHenry - Fort McHenry
- The Bike Haven - McHenry
