WOODSTOCK, IL - A McHenry County judge has raised the bond for a Wisconsin woman accused of being under the influence of heroin in a crash that killed a Woodstock mother and injured her husband, the Northwest Herald reports. The bond for Sheree Ann Shaw, 45, was previously set at $100,000 but was raised Wednesday to $500,000.
Shaw, 45, pleaded not guilty to two counts of aggravated DUI, Class 2 felonies and two counts of aggravated DUI, Class 4 felonies in McHenry County Court on Monday, according to an earlier article in the Northwest Herald. She was extradited from Las Vegas for missing court appearances in Illinois and Wisconsin.
Prosecutors said they filed a motion to raise Shaw's bond because they feared she was a flight risk, according to the Northwest Herald.
