Burglar Busts Laundromat Change Machine, Steals Money
Police are searching for a man accused of stealing cash from the change machine at the Rub a Dub Duds Laundromat in Crystal Lake.

CRYSTAL LAKE, IL — Police are searching for a man accused of breaking into the change machine at a local laundromat and getting away with the cash.
The Crystal Lake Police Department was called to the Rub a Dub Duds Laundromat at 35 Berkshire Drive at about 3:30 a.m. Wednesday. There they found the change machine had been broken into and that the suspect had fled with an unknown amount of money.
The man is believed to have stocky build and is between 5 feet, 6 inches and 5 feet, 9 inches tall.

Authorities are actively investigating the burglary and all leads as those develop. They are requesting that anyone who may have information related to the burglary contact them at 815-356-3620.
