FOX RIVER GROVE, IL — The driver of a car that plunged into the Fox River in Fox River Grove on Wednesday night was taken to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries, Fox River Grove Fire Chief Bob Kreher told the Northwest Herald. The incident happened near Lincoln Avenue and North River Road at 11:39 a.m.

A kayaker helped the driver of the car get safely to shore, according to the article.
