Cary Park District Announces Filing Period for Park Board Election

Two seats on the five-member Board of Commissioners are open for the April 4, 2017 election. Nominating petition forms available.

Nominating petition forms for the April 4, 2017 Park Board election

are now available. Forms may be picked up at the Community Center located at 255

Briargate Road, Cary, Illinois from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday thru Friday or

A Park Commissioner candidate’s petition must be filed in the same office no earlier

than Monday, December 12, 2016 until Monday, December 19, 2016. Filing hours will be

8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday thru Friday, except for the last day to will file hours will be

available until 5:00 p.m.

Two seats on the five-member Board of Commissioners are open for the April 4, 2017

election. One term is a 4-year unexpired term ending in 2021. The second is a 6-year full

term ending in 2023. Candidates must be residents of the Cary Park District for at least

one year prior to the election.
