Is your dog the smartest? Happiest? Most loved? Best fed? Does he or she have the longest ears? Shortest legs? Or loudest bark? Show off your best friend and let your doggie be the star of the show as the Cary Park District hosts a kid’s dog show. Pure mutts and pure pedigrees alike are welcome to compete in a variety of honors.

The show will be held on Saturday, July 16 from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm at Lions Park (behind the Preschool building). Dogs must be on a leash at all times and be able to interact with other dogs and humans. The contest is open to children ages 5 – 13 years old and their dog – any age and any size. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Space is still available. Pre-registration is required. Registration is $5 (n/r $8) per child/dog team and is accepted at the Cary Park District Community Center, 255 Briargate Road, Cary or online at carypark.com. For more information, visit carypark.com or contact the Cary Park District at 847-639-6100.
