Alexandria Strohmaier, 27, and Raul Briseno Jr., 33, both of Algonquin, will reopen the Burrito Express at 112 E. Liberty St. in Wauconda.

WAUCONDA, IL — The children of a man fatally shot in a botched robbery 21 years ago in McHenry plan to open a Mexican restaurant in the same place their father opened his first Burrito Express.
Alexandria Strohmaier, 27, and Raul Briseno Jr., 33, both of Algonquin, will reopen the Burrito Express at 112 E. Liberty St. in Wauconda, which was most recently owned by their uncle, according to the Northwest Herald. The restaurant, which will be named Raul's in memory of their father Raul Briseno Sr., is expected to open by April.
The siblings plan to use their father's recipe and focus on using fresh ingredients and choosing quality over quantity, just like their dad, according to the article.
