Chris 'Chili' Childers, 41, of McHenry, General Contractor
Visitation will be 3 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 31, at Davenport Family Funeral Home in Crystal Lake. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 1, at the funeral home.
Chris “Chili” Childers passed away unexpectedly Sunday, Jan. 27, 2013.
He was born March 16, 1971, in Kansas.

Chris was a general contractor who built creative, artistic homes. He was stubborn, with a heart of gold and could light up a room with his smile, piercing blue eyes, and boisterous laugh.
Chris is survived by his loving wife Heather Dinelli-Childers; daughter Allison; son Christopher Brant Jr.; brother William (Heidi) Childers IV; father William Childers III; step-mother Dayle Childers; grandmother, Betty Childers; uncle Doug Childers; and step-sisters, Lisa Hoffman, Michelle Helm.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Bonnie (nee Brovold), and his grandfather William Childers Jr.
Visitation will be 3 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 31, at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 419 E. Route 176, Crystal Lake. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 1, at the funeral home.
Interment will be private.
