City Council Approves 2nd Pot Dispensary In Crystal Lake
The dispensary will go to into a former Mexican restaurant at 330 N. Route 31 in Crystal Lake.
CRYSTAL LAKE, IL — Just months after the Crystal Lake City Council approved the addition of the city's first marijuana dispensary, village officials on Tuesday gave a second dispensary the go ahead to open in town.
Shaw Local reports the city council approved a special-use permit to allow for the dispensary to go into a former Mexican restaurant at 330 N. Route 31 in Crystal Lake. The restaurant has been closed for two years.
In October, the Crystal Lake City Council approved an application by Americanna Dream to bring a marijuana dispensary to town. The dispensary will be located in a former Culver's restaurant at 501 Pingree Road.
