Cone with a Cop at the Cary McDonald's

Cary, IL. – More than 75 free cones were distributed to attendees of the Cary McDonald’s Cone with A Cop event on Thursday, December 12, 2019.

Owned and operated by the Nondas Plesiotis the Cary McDonald’s located at 678 Northwest Highway is honored to take part in community-building events like this, especially as they engage the local police force.

Cones were not the only freebie at this event, as smiles abound amidst the cool winter air outside. The kids also received Police Badge stickers and McDonald’s smile stickers.

McDonald’s Owner and Operator Nondas Plesiotis was thrilled with the afternoon’s event:

“We are proud of the role we have maintained in Cary over the years, and we are happy to see the community and the local police department enjoying cones together. It’s just how winter should be.”

Police Chief Patrick Finlon, and Deputy Police Chief’s Naydenoff and Winkelmann all attended the event. Also, an amazing show of support from the Cary Citizens Police Academy were in attendance as well. In attendance from the CPA were Brian Luczak, Pat Malone, Joann Collis, Fran Steinke, and Martha Ritter. Local law enforcement and community members were happy to enjoy cones and conversation together. Deputy Chief Naydenoff made all the cones and he had a blast.

Nondas Plesiotis would like to thank Deputy Police Scott Naydenoff, who contributed to the coordination of the Cone with A Cop event. Nondas would also like to thank all the officers who came to the event, helped serve the cones, took pictures with the community members, and met many great members of the community.
