Cowork Crystal Lake hosts AT&T employees

Cowork Crystal Lake has only been open for two months, but has already hosted regional and national company employees in their coworking space, such as AT&T's pilot program AT&T National Cowork Day.

AT&T reached out to Cowork Crystal Lake to act as a host for its pilot program for local employees in McHenry County and Barrington.

The event was held July 12 in various cities nationwide. On that day, 120 AT&T employees visited and worked out of a coworking space near their residence.

"It is a tremendous opportunity for our coworking space to host AT&T's virtual employees,” said Vanessa Baker, owner of Cowork Crystal Lake.

Marty L., an AT&T employee, said the Cowork Crystal Lake facility was a pleasant surprise. “It's a neat place, not what I expected,” Marty said. “I grabbed a slice of pizza. It was really delicious. I've been to coworking spaces in downtown Chicago that were much more corporate-like. There is a certain vibe to Cowork Crystal Lake. It is more relaxed, welcoming and cool. I really like it."
