Creative Arts Studio doubles impact with new 2nd location

Creative Arts studio's Crystal Lake location was filled to bursting with over 40 art classes per week, and needed room to grow. With the help of a generous $30,000 grant from an anonymous donor, the studio is opening a satellite location on March 2nd.

The new Woodstock studio will be focused on teen to adult art classes, with some age 9-12 classes. Classes will include Acrylic & Oil Painting, Art Fundamentals, Drawing, Watercolor, Pastels, and Stained Glass.

Director Sam Sieber said, "We are so thankful for this amazing donation that is covering a full year’s expenses at the new nonprofit studio site. We love our primary site on the beautiful grounds of The Dole in Crystal Lake, and look forward to a second site just off Woodstock Square."

Creative Arts has been a nonprofit studio at The Dole in Crystal Lake since 2011. Their annual March Art Show at The Dole is coming up Friday, March 15th, 5:30-8:00pm, and is free to attend.
