Creative Living Series: Author Historian Presents "Here Is Where"
Andrew Carroll presents forgotten history in his book "Here is Where" Discovering America's Great Forgotten History"

Presented by the Woodstock Fine Arts Association, the November 17 guest speaker for the Creative Living Series will be national historian and author, Andrew Carroll. Taking the stage at the Woodstock Opera House, Carroll will explain that what we know as history is only a small cross-section of the past.
In working on his research for his book, "Here Is Where: Discovering America's Great Forgotten History," Carroll has journeyed across America by car, train, bicycle, plane, helicopter, bus, kayak, and on foot to find the unmarked sites where extraordinary historical events have occurred. From inventions to deaths to bodysnatching - through conspiracies, scandals, tragedies and triumphs - he will share discoveries of his journeys.
Carroll appears at the Woodstock Opera House on Thursday, November 17 at 10 a.m. Attendees are invited for coffee and conversation at the Stage Left Café beginning at 9 a.m. Tickets are $25 each and may be purchased through the Opera House box office at 815-338-5300 or online at www.woodstockoperahouse.com.
